National Security Camps 2024: A recreational opportunity for the children of the security family

Rabat, 13 June 2024: The Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Action for National Security Staff has opened the preliminary registration for children and orphans of National Security staff to participate in the 2024 summer camps, which will be held from July 8 to August 23, 2024, at the equipped summer centres in the cities of Agadir, Bouznika, Tetouan and Ifrane.

4275 beneficiaries

A total of 4,275 beneficiaries will benefit from these summer camps, an increase of 601 beneficiaries from last year. They will be divided into four groups and will be hosted at specially equipped holiday centres in the cities of Agadir, Bouznika, Tetouan and Ifrane.

These centres are tourist facilities that meet the approved standards in terms of accommodation, nutrition and the organisation of recreational and educational activities for the children of police employees and pensioners.

Slogan “Together… Protecting our water resources”

The 2024 summer camps will be held under the slogan “Together… Protecting our water resources”. This slogan aims to instill a culture of environmental conservation and preservation of water resources, by teaching participants educational messages and positive behaviours for the rational consumption of water and encouraging them to enjoy nature without harming it.

Measures to facilitate utilisation

In order to facilitate access to these camps, the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works for National Security Staff has adopted a series of measures, including the provision of medical and supervisory staff made up of the best National Security staff who have received specialised training in this field.

Logistical and human resources support

The central and regional departments of the General Directorate of National Security are currently working to provide all logistical equipment, human resources and specialised personnel to support and accompany the smooth organisation of this annual event.

Attention to the social aspect

The organisation of these summer camps comes within the framework of the General Directorate of National Security’s keenness to take care of the social aspect of police men and women, in a way that responds to the needs of employees and their family members.
