A local source from the Eastern Meknasa community said that the road linking the Eastern Meknasa community and the Taifa community in the Taza province, which was completed recently, is known for some unfortunate accidents, which without divine kindness would have been tragic in every sense of the word.
Evidence of this is that during the last two days I witnessed two accidents, the first of which involved a child under five years old falling from one of the bridges into the valley stream, and after that the same road witnessed a traffic accident that was almost fatal, due to the lack of speed limits (noises).
The source demands from our platform, on his own behalf, and through the mouth of the local residents, that barriers be installed on the aforementioned bridge, to protect pedestrians from falling into the depths of the valley, and also that a number of speed limits be placed on the aforementioned road, especially in front of the school in the Ouled Briah roundabout, in order to preserve the safety of students, and to warn drivers. Who may be strangers to the area, due to the dangers on the road.
Here is the source’s correspondence, which the newspaper conveys freely:

“What we warned about has happened!!!”
We have previously asked those supervising the completion of the road linking the Maknasa East community and the Taifa community in the Taza province to correct some of the imbalances, such as the iron barriers on the sides of the bridges to protect the road users, including footmen, riders, and animals, from falling into the valleys.
And here has happened what we warned about previously on the pages of this respected website, as it happened on April 25, 2024 in the Ouled Brih roundabout, that a child fell from the top of the bridge into the valley stream, and by the grace of God, he was not harmed and that the valley had no water in it due to drought. Also, it had previously happened in the same bridge that a bull fell in the same place. What do we care if an animal or a car falls with its occupants???
The residents hope that this matter will be remedied before the final handover to the company executing the project, in order to preserve the health and safety of the residents.
