Fès– Malgré l’annonce de l’Office National de l’Électricité et de l’Eau Potable (ONEE), relayée par son directeur régional de la production, Mohamed Lahlo, selon laquelle l’approvisionnement en eau potable devait reprendre progressivement à partir de vendredi soir, à la suite de l’achèvement des travaux de réparation de la conduite principale endommagée, la situation sur le terrain montre qu’à ce jour, plusieurs quartiers de Fès et de Meknès restent totalement privés d’eau, suscitant un mécontentement grandissant parmi les habitants.
Le responsable régional avait expliqué, dans une déclaration à la chaîne 2M, que la remise en service des installations se ferait de manière progressive après la finalisation des interventions techniques, avec un retour attendu du réseau à un fonctionnement normal dans les heures suivantes. Toutefois, de nombreux habitants affirment que les robinets demeurent toujours à sec, malgré le délai annoncé officiellement pour le début du rétablissement de l’alimentation en eau.

Fez– Despite the announcement by Morocco’s National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE), through its Regional Director of Production, Mohamed Lahlo, that the supply of drinking water would gradually resume from Friday evening following the completion of repair work on the damaged main transmission pipeline, the situation on the ground indicates that, as of today, several neighborhoods in Fez and Meknes continue to experience a complete water outage, leading to growing public frustration.
In a statement to 2M TV, the regional official explained that the water supply system would be restarted gradually after the completion of the technical works, with the network expected to return to normal operation within the following hours. However, many residents report that water taps remain dry despite the time frame officially announced for the beginning of the restoration process.
