According to the Korean Central News Agency, Kim’s renewed mandate came “in line with the unified will of the delegates,” reflecting the continued consolidation of his authority over both party and state institutions. The same sources indicated that senior military officials renewed their “oath of loyalty” to the North Korean leader.
