A shocking assault took place this morning on Ain Chkef Road in the city of Fes, where the head of the administrative district of “Al-Marja” was attacked inside his residence. He was urgently transferred to the emergency department to receive the necessary medical treatment, in an incident that mobilized local and security authorities.
According to exclusive information obtained by Fes News, the attack was carried out by the victim’s neighbor, who works as a security guard at an educational institution, with the participation of his son. The “bloody” assault resulted in serious injuries to the public official, including a deep head wound that required three stitches, in addition to a double fracture to the left shoulder and the nose. An initial medical certificate was issued, setting the period of incapacity at 25 days.
In a related development, security services succeeded in arresting the father (the security guard) and placing him in police custody, while the search continues to apprehend the son, who fled the scene immediately after the assault. Sources close to the case indicated that the victim suspects a “settling of scores” in which the neighbor was used, an angle that ongoing investigations are seeking to clarify under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
