In the early hours of Tuesday, January 13, police officers from the Wilaya of Security of Fes arrested two individuals aged 23 and 27 on suspicion of involvement in an aggravated theft case and a hit-and-run traffic incident.
According to available information, the two suspects allegedly snatched a woman’s belongings using a motorcycle in one of Fes’s neighborhoods before colliding with a passenger vehicle and fleeing the scene. A video circulating on social media documented the incident, helping to speed up the intervention by security services.
Investigations and inquiries conducted by the police led to the identification and arrest of the suspects. A background check revealed that one of them was already wanted in connection with another case involving assault with a bladed weapon.
The two suspects were placed in police custody pending a judicial investigation carried out under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office, with the aim of uncovering all the circumstances surrounding the case and determining the criminal acts attributed to them, pending the outcome of the investigation.
