Fes: Special Ceremony for Academic Achievers and the National Security Family
The city of Fes witnessed a joyful and distinguished ceremony organized by the National Security family in the city. The event was held to activate the comprehensive and stimulating Social Vision of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) and the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST). The celebration, dubbed the “Excellence Ceremony,” embodied the security institution’s commitment to reinforcing the social and family dimensions for its employees and their families.
🥇 Honoring Academic Excellence and Supporting Educational Trajectories
The ceremony placed a special focus on celebrating the academically excelling students—the children and orphans of National Security employees. This initiative aims to encourage and motivate the children toward diligence, academic achievement, and perseverance in their educational journeys.
In this context, an elite group of students who achieved the highest grades in the Baccalaureate exams for the 2024/2025 academic year were honored. Among the notable examples celebrated was student Chaimaa Hamdaoui, who secured the first rank in the Scientific Stream with an outstanding average of 17.12. She was presented with her Certificate of Appreciation by the Wali (Governor) of Fes.
👮♂️ Loyalty to the Men of Yesterday: Honoring Retirees and Widows
The tribute was not limited to the future generation but extended to the generation of service and dedication. The ceremony included a special honoring of several retired security employees and the widows of the National Security family. This gesture reflects the appreciation and loyalty for their efforts and commitment to serving the nation throughout their years of service.
Among those honored was Mr. Larbi El-Ouati, a retired Police Commissioner, who spent 40 years of actual service in the Directorate. He received a Certificate of Appreciation in the presence of the Head of the Supreme Command of Urban Corps in Fes.
🌐 A Comprehensive and Stimulating Social Vision
The organization of this ceremony, held under direct instructions from the General Directorate, reaffirms the institution’s strategy aimed at improving its traditional social services and providing new ones. This is intended to inject renewed vitality into social work that responds to the aspirations of all categories of its members.
In addition to the honoring ceremonies, the Foundation also organizes high-quality summer camps for the children and orphans of the Security family, featuring educational and awareness-raising programs and field visits. This further emphasizes the comprehensive nature of the support provided by the DGSN to its large family.
