Fez, Morocco – The Public Prosecutor at the Court of Appeal in Fez issued an order today, Thursday, August 28, 2025, for the arrest of YouTuber known as Genzouz, nicknamed “Moul El Qartassa.” He has been placed in pre-trial detention at Bourkaiz Prison. The individual is being prosecuted on charges related to incitement against the territorial integrity of the Kingdom, in addition to insulting a constitutional institution.
This arrest comes after Genzouz had recently benefited from a royal pardon, which raises questions about his return to practices that violate the law.
