A decomposed body was discovered this evening in an area adjacent to the Borj Fes shopping center, triggering a widespread security alert and causing shock and concern among local residents.
According to initial reports, the body was found by a passerby who immediately notified the authorities. Security forces promptly arrived at the scene, accompanied by forensic and technical police units.
The crime scene was cordoned off, and a judicial investigation was launched under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to determine the identity of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding the death. The body was transferred to the morgue at the Regional Hospital Al Ghassani for the necessary autopsy.
