Fez – Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fez, in partnership with a number of its faculties and institutions, is organizing the “18th University Pedagogical Days” under the theme “The Moroccan University and the Question of Values: Challenges of the Present and Stakes of the Future.”
According to the information extracted from the event’s poster, these pedagogical days will be held on Friday and Saturday, May 23-24, 2025, in the lecture hall of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Fez.
The poster indicates that the organization of this event is in partnership with the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, the Faculty of Dentistry, the Faculty of Sharia (Islamic Law), the Higher Teacher Training School, the National School of Applied Sciences, the Laboratory of Applied Studies in Sharia and Law, the Laboratory of Languages, Information and Islamic Sciences, and the UNESCO Chair for Ethics and Knowledge Transfer and Society.
These pedagogical days are expected to be an important platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences among professors, researchers, and those interested in university affairs, on the topic of values in the Moroccan university and the current challenges and future stakes it faces.
Various themes related to the university’s role in consolidating values, confronting ethical and knowledge-based challenges, and anticipating the future of higher education in light of rapid societal transformations will be discussed during this event.
The organization of the “University Pedagogical Days” is an annual tradition of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University aimed at developing pedagogical practices and promoting academic discussion on issues of importance to the higher education system. The eighteenth session is expected to attract wide participation from academics, researchers, and actors in the education sector in Morocco.
