Fez, Morocco – In a significant step to facilitate travel between Moroccan cities, passengers will soon be able to travel directly between Fez and Marrakesh aboard the Al-Boraq high-speed train, without the need to change trains.
The journeys will begin from Fez at a speed of 150 km/h on the line connecting Fez and Kenitra, before reaching its maximum speed of 320 km/h on the high-speed line linking Kenitra and Marrakesh.
This project aims to bring about a qualitative leap in facilitating passenger movement between the north and south of the Kingdom, and to significantly reduce travel time.
