Casablanca – April 9th: Police officers in the Moulay Rachid security district of Casablanca arrested four individuals, including one minor, this Wednesday, on suspicion of their involvement in acts of violence, mutual assault in public, and causing material damage to private property.
Security sources reported that the National Security services in Casablanca received a report in the middle of last night, Tuesday, stating the involvement of a group of individuals, believed to be supporters of local football club fan factions, in an exchange of violence and causing material damage to a number of cars parked on the public road.
The sources added that the field security operations immediately launched by police patrols led to the identification of the suspects and the arrest of four of them.
The adult suspects have been placed in police custody, while the arrested minor has been subjected to police supervision, all under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office. The ongoing investigation aims to uncover all the circumstances and motives behind this incident. Investigations are still underway to identify and arrest the remaining suspected individuals involved in these events to bring them to justice.
