Marrakech: The Provincial Judicial Police Service in Marrakech launched a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office today, Tuesday, April 8th, to determine the criminal acts attributed to a 19-year-old female repeat offender. She is suspected of involvement in recording and publishing digital content that incites violence and defamation.
According to initial information from the investigation, the suspect had previously served a prison sentence in 2022 for her involvement in subjecting a girl to a severe physical assault using a white weapon on the face. Recent investigations indicate that she has now proceeded to publish digital content that defames the same victim and includes praise and incitement to the criminal acts she previously committed against her.
National security services have treated this violent content with great seriousness, initiating an investigation into the matter under the instructions of the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office. This investigation led to the identification and arrest of the suspect, as well as the seizure of a digital storage device in her possession, suspected of containing digital traces of these criminal activities.
The suspect has been placed in police custody under the supervision of the ongoing judicial investigation led by the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office. Investigations are continuing to identify and apprehend all those involved in documenting and publishing this digital content that incites violence.
