Local authorities in Taza Municipality have launched field inspections to identify illegal constructions, following strict directives from Taza Province Governor, Mustapha El Mâaza.
According to local sources, the inspections revealed dozens of unauthorized buildings, some of which have been standing for years without meeting legal requirements. The same sources confirmed that authorities have issued firm orders to immediately proceed with demolitions once the inventory process is complete. For more complex cases, legal action will be taken.
This campaign is part of a broader effort to tighten urban planning oversight, especially after the governor received reports indicating a rise in violations. The authorities are now moving decisively to address these issues in accordance with the law.
