Fes: Final Workshop for Implementing the Integrated National Child Health Policy

In the context of implementing and localizing the contents of the intersectoral integrated strategy for child health for those under 18 years in the Fes-Meknes region, the Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection in Fes-Meknes, with support from UNICEF and under the auspices of the Population Directorate’s Child Health Protection Division within the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, organized the final workshop on February 18-19, 2025. This event marked the culmination of a series of workshops aimed at implementing the intersectoral integrated strategy for child health under 18 years.

The workshop saw significant participation from representatives of the Population Directorate, various staff and officials from the Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection in Fes-Meknes, as well as heads of health institutions at the regional and prefectural levels, and representatives from regional partner sectors including the Regional Academy of Education and Training, the High Commission for Planning, the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, and the Social Affairs Division (National Human Development Initiative) of the Prefecture.

This workshop was convened to finalize the programmed actions within the logical framework of the regional intersectoral action plan for child health under 18 years old.

Following an in-depth analysis of the regional status of child health, extensive discussions ensued among the attendees to enhance the services provided, ensuring a healthy childhood that grows in conditions conducive to a prosperous life, fully safeguarding their human rights.
