Parliamentarian Zakaria Ben Wans sent a written question to the Minister of Health and Social Protection about the acute shortage of resuscitation and anesthesia doctors at the Mohamed V Regional Hospital in Meknes, which has become a real challenge for the health system in the city.
The parliamentarian pointed out that this shortage directly affects the health services provided to patients, especially in urgent cases and surgical operations that require the intervention of doctors specialized in anesthesia and resuscitation, which increases the suffering of citizens who are forced to seek alternative solutions that may be expensive or unavailable.
Ben Wans also called on the Minister of Health to reveal the measures and procedures that the ministry intends to take to fill this shortage and ensure the provision of a sufficient number of resuscitation and anesthesia doctors at the Mohammed V Regional Hospital, in order to improve health services and guarantee the right of citizens to treatment in appropriate conditions.
