Rabat – April 24, 2025 – Tonight, Thursday, April 24th, the Moroccan national women’s futsal team will face their Cameroonian counterparts at the indoor hall of the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat. This match is part of the second round of Group A in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The “Atlas Lionesses” sent a strong warning during their opening match last Tuesday, decisively defeating Namibia 8-1, thereby demonstrating their physical and mental readiness for the tournament.
The national team, led by head coach Adil Sayegh, must secure a victory against the “untamed Lionesses” of Cameroon to guarantee direct qualification to the semi-finals and avoid getting caught up in the calculations for the best third-placed teams from the groups.
Benefiting from home advantage and passionate fans, the national team is expected to achieve victory to confidently and calmly secure their passage to the semi-finals and continue their journey towards the final and the World Cup, with the ultimate ambition of claiming the continental title.
It is worth noting that the two teams that reach the final match of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will represent the African continent at the FIFA Women’s Futsal World Cup, scheduled to take place in the Philippines from November 21st to December 7th, 2025.
The Morocco vs. Cameroon match (Group A) will be broadcast live starting at 8:00 PM (20:00) Moroccan time on the Moroccan sports channel Arryadia and the official CAF TV channel on YouTube.
