Residents of Mysore are suffering from frequent interruptions in drinking water, causing widespread discontent among citizens, especially during the winter season, when the need for this vital substance increases.
In a letter addressed to the governor of the Boulman region, residents expressed their daily suffering due to this issue, accusing the National Office of Drinking Water of not paying any attention to this crisis and making no effort to solve it. Citizens wondered: “How is it possible that we are in the middle of winter and the taps of our houses are only farting?”
The letter added an expression of deep dissatisfaction: “For God’s sake, fear God in this town, its residents are fed up with these practices.”
The citizens are calling for an urgent intervention by the responsible authorities to address this issue and ensure a regular supply of water, stressing that the continuation of the current situation increases their suffering and negatively affects their daily lives.
