The Royal Gendarmerie unit in Berrechid area, under the direct supervision of the Provincial Commander of Settat, successfully arrested a dangerous drug dealer known as “Wald Fatmi,” who was wanted on more than 30 arrest warrants.
The operation took place at dawn last Sunday in the Had Soualem area of Berrechid province, where the suspect’s sister was also arrested.
Security forces seized large quantities of various drugs including hashish, kif, bufa, and cocaine, as well as smuggled alcoholic beverages. Three 4×4 vehicles and three motorcycles were also confiscated.
The detained individuals were placed under custody for investigation, pending their presentation to justice.
It’s worth noting that this operation comes after the arrest of another drug baron known as “El Limouni” last September after 25 years on the run, who was involved in cocaine trafficking between Morocco and Spain.
