Many villages in the community of Ikhlalifa, especially the roundabout of Hajhouja in Taounate, are facing a severe crisis due to frequent power cuts, which have affected their lives significantly for more than a month, according to local sources.
As the peak summer season approaches, this issue is exacerbated, increasing the suffering of the roundabout’s residents, as young children have difficulty preserving their milk, while those with chronic diseases suffer from spoiled medicines, which negatively affects their health.
Local sources added that the power outage also causes food to spoil in homes and grocery stores, leading to a crisis in food availability.
These alarming conditions, according to local sources, require an urgent response from the concerned authorities to ensure the continued provision of electricity and improve the living conditions of the residents of Hajjouja roundabout and other affected villages.
