In a move that reflects the depth of relations between Spain and Morocco, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez called for strengthening cooperation between the two countries to develop a fruitful partnership that benefits the peoples of both countries and promotes the stability and prosperity of the Mediterranean region.
Sanchez’s call came after sending a congratulatory cable to King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of King Mohammed VI’s accession to the throne.
In his cable, Sanchez highlighted the strong ties between the two peoples, noting that “the Kingdom of Morocco remains one of Spain’s closest and most important partners.” He expressed his deep appreciation for the fruitful cooperation between the governments of the two countries.
At the end of his cable, Sanchez conveyed his warmest congratulations to King Mohammed VI, wishing him continued health and success, and the Kingdom of Morocco further prosperity and happiness for the Moroccan people.
