In a move aimed at enhancing economic cooperation between Morocco and Spain, the General Union of Enterprises in the Fes-Meknes region, under the leadership of Omar Tajmouti, held a meeting with their Spanish counterparts, especially from the Valencia region.
Representatives from the Fes-Meknes region, the Chamber of Agriculture, and the Regional Investment Center attended the meeting to discuss ways to enhance joint investment in various fields.
During the meeting, Omar Tajmouti, the president of the General Union of Enterprises, presented a comprehensive overview of the investment potential of the Fes-Meknes region. He highlighted the region’s rich natural and human resources, as well as the available opportunities for investors. He also emphasized the region’s commitment to providing all necessary facilitations and support for Spanish companies interested in investing in the area.
According to sources from Fes News, Spanish businessmen have been invited to make a field visit to the Fes-Meknes region from May 23rd to May 24th. The visit will include a tour of various investment projects in the region, as well as participation in the Festival of Spiritual Music.
Commenting on this visit, Omar Tajmouti said, “We are pleased with this positive step aimed at attracting more investments to the Fes-Meknes region. We emphasize that Morocco, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, is making steady progress in all areas, including the economic field.”
He added, “Our selection as a delegation representing all economic actors in the region to visit Valencia reflects the depth of the fraternal relations between Morocco and Spain, and our sincere desire to enhance economic cooperation between the two brotherly countries. We are confident that the 2030 World Cup, jointly hosted by Morocco, Spain, and Portugal, will be a historic opportunity to strengthen cooperation in various fields.”
