Fes News Media — Following recent claims circulated across certain media outlets and social platforms regarding a judicial case dating back nearly ten years and linked to Minister Delegate in charge of Housing and Urban Policy, Fatima Saadi, official legal records clarify the factual and institutional context of the file.
Contrary to allegations suggesting that the case involved “encroachment on private property,” the proceedings strictly concerned the legal procedure for reclaiming and protecting the municipal public domain in accordance with applicable Moroccan law during Fatima Saadi’s tenure as President of the Municipal Council of Al Hoceima.
The legal action fell squarely within the exercise of Saadi’s official duties and institutional responsibilities as Mayor of the Municipality of Al Hoceima at the time, and bore no relation whatsoever to any personal dispute or private gain.
Furthermore, the judicial process concluded with a final and definitive court ruling acquitting Fatima Saadi of all charges and ordering the complainant to bear the court costs, as established by the official court records of the case.
