Taza Police Arrest Attacker of His Ex-Wife and Foil His Escape Attempt to Sefrou

In a specialized operation, the judicial police in the city of Taza managed to arrest a man in his thirties with a criminal record, following his brutal assault on his ex-wife using a sharp weapon. The attack left her with deep wounds on her face and hand, and he also attempted to sexually assault her in front of their five-year-old child.

According to available information, the suspect, recently released from prison, went to his ex-wife’s home intending to take revenge. He carried out the violent attack before fleeing towards the city of Sefrou. However, the vigilance of the judicial police prevented his escape, as they conducted precise investigations to track him down until they were able to surround and apprehend him.

The accused was placed under judicial custody at the disposal of the competent public prosecution, pending his referral for prosecution on the criminal charges against him.

Meanwhile, the approximately 25-year-old victim was transferred to the hospital where the medical team performed surgeries to repair her severe wounds, contributing to saving her life and alleviating her suffering.
