Rabat – Here are the weather forecasts issued by the Directorate General of Meteorology for tomorrow, Sunday, May 11, 2025:
- Highlands and Inland Areas: Local thundery showers are expected over the Middle Atlas, the Oriental region, the Rif Mountains, the Saiss Plain, and the Oulmès Plateau.
- Central Plateaus: Isolated showers and thunderstorms are likely over the Phosphate Plateaus and the interior of the Chaouia region.
- Atlantic Plains and Interior: Weak rain or scattered drizzle is possible over the Atlantic plains between Rabat and Essaouira, the central interior plains, and the High Atlas Mountains.
- Fog: Local fog formations are expected in the morning and at night near the central and southern coasts.
- Temperatures: Relatively hot weather is anticipated over the extreme south and southeast of the country.
- Winds: Rather strong wind gusts, potentially stirring up dust, are expected over the southeast and the south of the Oriental region.
- Minimum Temperatures: Will range from 05 to 12°C in the Rif and Atlas Mountains, from 14 to 21°C near the coasts and over the south, Souss, and extreme southeast of the country, and from 09 to 16°C elsewhere.
- Daytime Temperatures: Will see a slight increase in the southern and southeastern regions, and a decrease in all other parts of the country.
- Sea: The Mediterranean Sea will be calm to locally slight. The Strait of Gibraltar will be calm to slight. The sea will be slight north of Mohammedia and slight to rough south of Mohammedia.
