DGSN Thwarts Plan to Export Thousands of Tons of Spoiled “Khlii” in Intensive Security Operations in Jnane El-Ward and Fes Medina Districts

Fez – The General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DST) has successfully thwarted a major scheme to export thousands of tons of spoiled “Khlii” (traditional preserved meat), where large quantities of these unsafe products were seized. Municipal trucks were used by security authorities to transport these shipments after confirming their spoilage.

The security operations were carried out with precision in both Jnane El-Ward and Fes Medina districts, based on accurate intelligence information that enabled the identification of several locations where illegal slaughter and manufacturing methods of this spoiled product were being practiced.

These efforts come as part of ongoing endeavors to protect citizens’ health and ensure the safety of food products in markets, especially with the spread of such illegal activities in some areas.
