Maghreb Athletic de Fès (MAS) forced a 1-1 draw against hosts Ittihad Tanger (ITA) in their match today at Ibn Batouta Stadium in Tangier, as part of matchday nine of the Moroccan Professional Football League.
The match saw the hosts take an early lead through striker Ali El Harrak in the 32nd minute, before Senegalese forward Matar Diaye managed to equalize for MAS in the 80th minute of the game.
With this result, Maghreb Fez increased their points tally to 15, consolidating their position in third place, while Ittihad Tanger raised their total to 13 points, maintaining eighth place in the league standings.
This draw confirms the impressive form shown by the Fez team this season and their ability to come back in difficult away matches.
