As part of a comprehensive security campaign sweeping across the city of Fez, security forces have achieved significant milestones in the fight against drug trafficking and the proliferation of bladed weapons, two of the most serious threats to urban security. The results of the multi-week operation include the seizure of 195 kilograms of hashish, 832 hallucinogenic pills, and 463 grams of cocaine – quantities that point to the existence of organized criminal activity aimed at distributing these substances among young people.
Moreover, security forces have confiscated 663 liters of smuggled spirits and alcoholic beverages, as well as 205 bladed weapons, which posed a direct threat to the safety of citizens. These accomplishments reflect the significant efforts undertaken by security forces to enhance security and stability in the city and underscore the importance of continuing these campaigns to combat all forms of crime.
In addition to drugs and bladed weapons, 275 mobile phones, 30 cars, and motorcycles were seized, having been used or obtained through criminal activities, highlighting the importance of this campaign in dismantling criminal networks operating in the city. These operations are part of ongoing efforts to curb organized crime and ensure a safe environment for residents.
