Residents of neighbourhoods near cellular areas on the outskirts of Taza region are facing an important challenge: the presence of a wild boar that threatens their safety and the safety of their children, as it sows terror and insecurity in them by roaming freely between residential houses.
According to data available from local sources, residents of the Batouar, Bahra and Ayad neighbourhoods have complained about the presence of large numbers of wild boars of different ages, forcing them not to leave their homes at night, for fear of being attacked by potentially dangerous boars, as happened in previous incidents.
The affected residents are calling on the competent authorities to intervene urgently and organise a trapping and hunting operation for the wild boar, in cooperation with an association specialised in hunting, and the Regional Delegation for Water and Forests, in order to protect them and their property.
A number of social media activists in Taza expressed their concerns and called on the competent authorities to intervene urgently and decisively to remove the damage that threatens their safety, the safety of their children and their property, and prevents them from practising their daily activities.
