Local authorities in the Sais region have launched a large-scale campaign to monitor prices and food quality, as part of their efforts to crack down on price gouging and ensure the availability of high-quality goods just days before Eid al-Adha. The campaign will include field tours carried out by mixed committees comprising representatives of various concerned sectors, which will monitor markets and shops to detect violations and take the necessary legal measures.
