Yesterday, Tuesday, the municipality of Ajdir in the Taza province witnessed partial elections to fill the vacant seat in district 5 of the same municipality.
Competing for the vacant seat in district 5 were three candidates representing the Authenticity and Modernity Party, Independence, and Progress and Socialism.
The candidate Awatef Al-Khwaja, from the Authenticity and Modernity Party, succeeded in winning these elections by receiving 143 votes, leading over her closest competitors, the candidate from the Independence Party, who received 58 votes, while the candidate from the Progress and Socialism Party received 32 votes.
This victory is considered a triumph for the Authenticity and Modernity Party in this municipality, and it strengthens its presence in the municipal councils at the level of Taza province.
