Meknes – The healthcare infrastructure in the city of Meknes is set to strengthen its capacity as construction work continues on the new Specialized Hospital, located next to Moulay Ismail Hospital. The project is expected to add 120 beds to the city’s hospital capacity and expand the range of specialized medical services available to the local population.
The project covers an area of approximately three hectares, while construction work continues at the site according to the scheduled phases, pending completion of the building and the installation of the necessary equipment and facilities before the hospital begins receiving patients.
The project’s capacity is particularly significant given its expected role in supporting existing healthcare facilities in Meknes by providing an additional hospital facility dedicated to medical specialties, which could contribute to improving the local healthcare system’s ability to receive patients and provide specialized treatment services.
Residents of Meknes and surrounding areas are also expected to benefit from the facility’s services, particularly once all stages of the project have been completed and it officially becomes operational.
The construction of this hospital is part of efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and expand hospital capacity, while citizens’ access to its services remains dependent on the completion of construction and equipment work and the facility’s actual start of operations.
As construction continues, residents of Meknes are awaiting the completion of this healthcare project, which represents an anticipated addition to the city’s hospital infrastructure, with a capacity of up to 120 beds.
