On Friday, April 19, 2026, the fifth edition of the Regional Forum on Studies, Training, and Careers kicked off in the city of Boulmane. The initiative aims to support students in making decisions related to academic and career guidance, as part of the “Pathways to Success” project under the National Initiative for Human Development. The forum, which features the participation of more than 34 institutions from higher education, vocational training, and specialized institutes, provides open spaces for students and their families to explore various academic paths and career opportunities through exhibition halls and direct interactive presentations.
In this context, the Governor of the Boulemane Region, Allal El Baz, emphasized that this event is part of the programs of the fourth phase of the National Initiative for Human Development, highlighting its role in supporting young people and guiding their choices in line with the requirements of the job market.
For his part, the Regional Director of the Ministry of National Education, Primary Education, and Sports, Mohamed Manaa, explained that the forum reflects the educational system’s orientation toward openness to its economic and social environment and contributes to empowering students, particularly in middle and high school, to explore various educational pathways. During this session, the results of the “Paths to Success” project were also presented. More than 16,800 students benefited from this project through mentoring, guidance, and academic support activities, as part of efforts aimed at reducing school dropout rates and improving the quality of learning.
