Local stakeholders in Skoura Imdaz Municipality, part of Boulemane Province, have expressed dissatisfaction with the state of administrative services at the municipal headquarters, citing what they describe as recurrent irregularities that affect citizens’ interests and negatively impact the quality of public services.
According to statements from these stakeholders, failure by some employees to comply with legally mandated working hours has led to the disruption of citizens’ affairs and delays in processing administrative documents. This, they argue, undermines the efficiency of the public service and runs counter to the principles of bringing public administration closer to citizens.
In the same context, the stakeholders called for closer monitoring of staff performance within the municipal facility, clear identification of responsibilities, and the activation of the principle of accountability linked to responsibility, alongside measures to restore administrative discipline and improve service quality for users.
The same sources also pointed to the circulation of photographs documenting the absence of staff from several municipal offices during periods that should normally see high public attendance. This, they say, has reinforced calls for intervention by the competent provincial authorities to assess the situation and take the necessary corrective measures.
