Fez-Meknes Region: Regional Caravan for Support Targeting Very Small, Small and Medium Enterprises Tours 6 Provinces and Attracts More Than 800 Investors

The regional caravan for introducing the new support system dedicated to very small, small and medium enterprises (TPE/PME) continued its tour across the Fez-Meknes region, visiting Fez, Moulay Yacoub, Boulemane, Sefrou, Ifrane and Taza, under the slogan “Enterprise Support at the Heart of National Investment Dynamics.”

The six stops witnessed intensive attendance exceeding 800 businessmen and businesswomen and local and regional economic actors, who benefited from technical and practical presentations delivered by the Fez-Meknes Regional Investment Center team, covering the conditions, procedures and incentives available under the new Investment Charter.

Key Features of the New System for Very Small, Small and Medium Enterprises:

• Three investment grants that can be combined:
  1. Grant for creating permanent jobs
  2. Territorial grant to enhance regional attractiveness
  3. Grant for priority activities and future professions
• Support rate can reach 30% of the eligible investment value
• Possibility of combining with incentives provided by regions and territorial communities

This system complements the basic support and support for strategic projects, covering all categories of enterprises regardless of their size, emphasizing that small and medium enterprises constitute 90% of the national business fabric and are the beating heart of the Moroccan economy.
