This evening, the 17th edition of the Fez Festival of Sufi Culture kicked off at the hall of the Fez Medina Prefecture, in the presence of scholarly, cultural, and spiritual figures from Morocco and abroad.

This annual event, which has become a firmly established tradition in the Moroccan cultural scene, celebrates the spiritual and human dimensions of authentic Moroccan Sufism under the slogan that reinforces the values of peace, tolerance, and intercultural dialogue.

The opening ceremony featured speeches by a group of thinkers and researchers in Sufi thought, who highlighted the pioneering role of Fez as a capital of knowledge and Sufism, as well as a center of cultural and spiritual influence both nationally and internationally.

The evening also included artistic performances and Sufi praises presented by Moroccan and international groups, reflecting the richness of the shared spiritual heritage among peoples, in an atmosphere filled with contemplation and spiritual beauty.

The festival activities are expected to continue for a full week, featuring intellectual seminars, musical performances, and spiritual meetings that bring together an elite group of Sufis, scholars, and thinkers from around the world.
