The Provincial Delegation of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in Al Hajeb organized a health campaign at the Sadam rural clinic on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, benefiting the local population. The campaign provided various essential health services, including general medicine, respiratory diseases, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and blood pressure screenings.
This campaign also included screenings for breast and cervical cancers as part of the activities under the National Campaign for Prevention and Early Detection of Breast and Cervical Cancers launched by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection from October 1 to 31, under the slogan “Your Health is Your Capital, Prevention and Early Detection Are Your Guarantee.” Additional awareness-raising activities were held to inform about the risks of breast and cervical cancers and encourage vaccinations, emphasizing early detection as a preventive and therapeutic approach.
The Provincial Delegation mobilized a medical team composed of healthcare professionals and nursing staff for this campaign.
The campaign included medical examinations and laboratory tests distributed as follows:
- General medicine: 266 beneficiaries (male and female)
- Respiratory diseases: 49 beneficiaries
- Obstetrics and gynecology: 30 female beneficiaries
- Diabetes screening: 24 beneficiaries
- Blood pressure screening: 156 beneficiaries
- Cervical cancer screening: 28 female beneficiaries
- Breast cancer screening: 43 female beneficiaries
- Health awareness: 265 beneficiaries
The total number of beneficiaries reached 1005 individuals. The medical campaign proceeded smoothly and was well-received by the beneficiaries and the general population, who expressed their gratitude and appreciation for these activities.
