The National Professional Football League Reaffirms Its Commitment to Supporting Clubs and Developing the Championship

On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, the Executive Office of the National Professional Football League held its meeting at the headquarters of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, chaired by Hicham Ait Mena, Vice President.

The meeting began with a directive speech by the Central Sports Director, Omar Moflih, who emphasized that this new phase reflects the high royal directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI aimed at developing sports infrastructure, qualifying staff, and giving a strong boost to national football at all levels.

The members of the office reviewed the achievements of the national football team and praised its remarkable results in the Africa Cup of Nations and the World Cup, considering these successes a motivation to intensify efforts to support clubs and raise the level of the professional championship.

The Executive Office also renewed its commitment to providing suitable conditions to ensure fair competition, protect sporting integrity, and improve the administrative management of clubs, adopting the principles of rigor and discipline to avoid organizational and financial disorders.

The statement highlighted that the upcoming phase will witness the launch of new projects to enhance infrastructure quality, improve team working conditions, and develop the training system, alongside strengthening partnerships with economic institutions to support the financial stability of clubs.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was emphasized that collective work must continue with a sense of responsibility to consolidate the position of the national professional championship as a fundamental pillar of Moroccan football and to ensure its continental and international prominence.
