A number of artisans and traditional craftsmen in Meknes expressed deep concern, in an interview with the newspaper, about an attempted political exploitation targeting the registration process for benefiting from shops in the Habous Hotels located in the old city. The artisans indicated that a person has been circulating among them, claiming to have the ability to facilitate their access to these shops by leveraging his influence as part of a political campaign that is considered to have started prematurely.
In this context, one of the artisans called on the relevant authorities, especially the local governor, to urgently investigate the allegations promoted by this individual regarding his ability to enable artisans to obtain shops in the Habous Hotels. The craftsmen hope for a swift official intervention to put an end to these practices that may hinder their interests and damage the reputation of the organizational process in the historic city of Meknes.
