The residents of Dar Al-Omari village, part of the Traibah commune under Bab Morooj administration in Taza province, face ongoing difficulties due to weak and frequently interrupted mobile network coverage, making daily communication via phone nearly impossible at times.
Local activists confirmed that internet service is completely absent in the area, which deepens the isolation of the residents and prevents them from accessing essential digital services that have become fundamental in various fields, from education to administrative procedures.
The residents warn of the serious risks posed by this situation, especially in emergencies, where they struggle to contact ambulance services or relevant authorities, constituting a direct threat to their safety and security.
The community calls on the responsible authorities to urgently intervene and provide practical solutions ensuring reliable telecommunications coverage and internet access, similar to other areas that have benefited from digital connectivity projects.
