Rabat, Morocco – The Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat, one of Morocco’s most prominent sports venues, is undergoing a comprehensive revolution in its infrastructure and services, transforming it into a global sports landmark that meets the latest international standards. This transformation is part of the Kingdom’s proactive vision to enhance its capacity to host major international sports events, most notably the FIFA World Cup finals.
World-Class Infrastructure
Located southwest of the capital, the complex is the official home stadium for the Royal Moroccan Army club and the national team. It has a seating capacity of approximately 52,000 spectators and is designed to accommodate all groups, with dedicated sections for VIPs, media, and people with disabilities.
The complex recently underwent extensive renovations, which not only included the pitch but also all interior facilities, from lighting to sanitation, making it ready to welcome fans in ideal conditions that befit the reputation of Moroccan sports.
Fan Access Guide
To facilitate fan entry, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has announced new organizational procedures being implemented for the first time in the Kingdom. In addition to the requirement of a valid electronic ticket and an ID card, a special guide has been issued, including a video to explain access routes, entrances, and exits.
Entry Procedures:
- Tickets: Entry is conditional upon holding a valid ticket, which can be purchased through the online platform or the Webook app, with prices starting from 100 dirhams.
- ID Card: A valid ID card must be presented with the ticket for identity verification.
- Timing: The stadium gates open 3 to 4 hours before the match to avoid congestion.
- Prohibited Items: Weapons, flammable materials, glass bottles, metal cans, fireworks, and offensive banners are not allowed.
- Access and Parking: The complex is accessible via major roads in Rabat, and a new underground parking facility has been provided in addition to the existing outdoor lots.
