As part of strengthening scientific research and innovation, the Regional Scientific Research Committee of the Fez-Meknes region has announced an extension of the application submission period for the 2025 Regional Scientific Research Prize, organized in partnership with universities and higher education institutions in the region. This aims to support scientific production and encourage research initiatives in various fields.
Three Main Categories of the Prize
The prize includes three main categories:
- Publications
- PhD Theses
- Registered Innovations
It is required that publications and PhD theses be published starting from 2022, and that their authors be professors and researchers affiliated with various Moroccan universities who belong territorially to the Fez-Meknes region.
Six Fields Covered by the Prize
The prize covers multiple fields distributed as follows:
- Regional Prize for Humanities and Literature
- Regional Prize for Sciences
- Regional Prize for Technical Research and Innovation
- Regional Prize for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Regional Prize for Economic and Management Sciences
- Regional Prize for Legal Sciences
Required Documents for Application
The application file consists of several documents, including:
- Participation application
- Copy of national ID card
- Candidate’s CV
- Electronic copy of the submitted work
- One-page summary of the work
- Completed application form
- Digital copy of the work on a USB drive
- Commitment to respect the conditions
- Nine (9) paper copies of the work
- Work certificate or registration certificate for students
- Documents proving territorial affiliation to the region
- All documents in French or Arabic with certified translation when necessary
Deadline and Location for Submitting Applications
Application files are received at the reception desk of the Continuing Training and Applied Scientific Research Service at the headquarters of the Fez-Meknes Regional Council on Abdullah bin Yassin Street – Riyadh District, before September 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
