Morocco Commemorates World Blood Donor Day under the Slogan “Minutes of Your Time… A Lifetime for Others”

In celebration of World Blood Donor Day, which falls on June 14 each year, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Kingdom of Morocco has launched a national campaign to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation, under the slogan: “Minutes of Your Time… A Lifetime for Others.”

This initiative is part of national efforts aimed at promoting a culture of voluntary blood donation and ensuring the availability of this vital resource for patients and those in need. The official campaign image highlights the importance of collective work and social solidarity, symbolized by a blood drop puzzle, indicating that every donor is an essential part of saving others’ lives.

Through this campaign, the Ministry of Health calls on all citizens to dedicate a few minutes of their time to donate blood, emphasizing the profound impact this has on saving lives and supporting the national health system. The ministry also stresses that blood donation is a humanitarian and social responsibility that contributes to giving hope to patients in dire need of this vital resource.

It is worth noting that the campaign is supported by digital platforms such as “Sehati” to expand awareness and reach as many citizens as possible, especially with the increasing need for blood bags in hospitals and health centers.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection reaffirms its commitment to continuing its efforts to encourage regular blood donation and to value the contributions of donors as key partners in saving lives and strengthening national solidarity.
