A power pole in the Bel-Masla area near the Teacher Training School in Taza has become a source of serious concern for local residents, after exposed electrical wires were discovered without any protective covering—posing a grave danger to public safety. According to local sources speaking to Fes News, the situation nearly turned tragic when a small child, having slipped away from his mother, approached the live wires in an attempt to touch them. Fortunately, several residents noticed in time and intervened.
The incident occurred on the evening of the previous day, when residents were alarmed to find exposed electrical wires in a location heavily frequented by children and pedestrians. Many warned that the absence of protective barriers or warning signs makes the situation especially hazardous.
This alarming condition represents a serious threat to the lives of children and passersby in the area. Such electrical hazards can easily result in fatal shocks, prompting numerous residents to call on the relevant authorities to act swiftly and cover the exposed wires.
