Fez, Morocco – The Democratic Confederation of Labour (CDT), represented by the National Health Union and the Fez-Meknes Regional Office, is preparing to hold two important general assemblies in the city of Fez in the coming days, with the aim of strengthening union work in the health sector and nursing education.
Renewal of the Union Office at Hassan II University Hospital in Fez: The first general assembly is scheduled to convene on Saturday, May 31, 2025, starting from 3:00 PM (15:00). This assembly aims to renew the union office of the Hassan II University Hospital in Fez (CHU FES). This assembly will be held under the supervision of:
- The National Bureau of the Confederation.
- The Regional Office of the Confederation in Fez-Meknes.
- The Regional Confederative Union of Fez-Meknes.
Establishment of the Local Office of the National Health Union at the Higher Institute of Nursing Professions and Health Techniques (ISPITS) in Fez: The second general assembly will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, starting from 3:00 PM (15:00). This assembly is dedicated to establishing the local office of the National Health Union at the Higher Institute of Nursing Professions and Health Techniques in Fez (ISPITS Fez). This establishment will be supervised by:
- The National Bureau of the Confederation.
- The Regional Office of the Confederation in Fez-Meknes.
- The Regional Confederative Union of Fez-Meknes.
Location of the General Assemblies and Invitation to Attend: Both general assemblies will be held at the headquarters of the Democratic Confederation of Labour, located at 20 Saudi Arabia Street, No. 04, Ville Nouvelle – Fez (next to Bank Al-Maghrib).
The Confederation has extended a general invitation:
- For the CHU General Assembly: To all male and female activists at the Hassan II University Hospital Center in Fez.
- For the ISPITS General Assembly: To all professors and staff of the Higher Institute of Nursing Professions and Health Techniques in Fez.
The Democratic Confederation of Labour emphasizes its principles: “An independent, democratic, mass, and progressive operational center,” stressing the importance of these steps in strengthening union work and defending the rights and interests of professionals in the health and nursing sectors.
