Gruesome Murder Shakes Douar Mlaha in Sefrou Province: Farmer Killed in Brutal Attack in His Field

The village of “Mlaha,” part of the Oulad Mkoudou commune in Sefrou Province, was shaken earlier this week by a horrific murder that claimed the life of a farmer in his thirties. According to available details, the victim was subjected to a violent assault by three individuals who used bladed weapons, stones, and even ferocious dogs in the attack.

According to local sources, the farmer was working with his wife pruning olive trees in their private field when the attackers, who had an old feud with the victim dating back several years, suddenly launched the assault. His wife was reportedly recording footage of him working on her phone when the ambush occurred.

The assailants, armed with sticks and bladed weapons, also unleashed aggressive dogs on the victim in a savage attack that left him with severe head injuries. He died at the scene.

The same sources indicate that the motive behind the crime stems from long-standing personal disputes between the victim and the attackers, fueled by ongoing provocations.

A video documenting the assault was widely circulated on social media, showing the victim being brutally beaten with stones and sticks. Royal Gendarmerie units quickly intervened upon being alerted to the incident, arresting the suspects and placing them in custody pending their presentation before the competent public prosecutor. The victim’s body was transferred to the morgue for a forensic autopsy.

This shocking crime serves as a stark warning about the dangers of escalating violence due to personal disputes and highlights the urgent need for stricter legal measures to combat such tragic incidents.
