Several regions across Morocco are expected to experience intense thunderstorms starting Tuesday afternoon and lasting until 7 a.m. on Wednesday, according to a weather alert issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology.
In an orange-level warning bulletin, the Directorate reported that rainfall amounts could range between 20 and 30 millimeters, accompanied locally by hailstorms.
The affected provinces include Figuig, Jerada, Oujda-Angad, Taourirt, Guercif, Taza, Sefrou, Boulemane, Midelt, Azilal, and Al Haouz.
These weather disturbances are part of the seasonal climatic changes typically observed in Morocco during this time of year.
