Statement from the Royal Palace:
His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, President of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary, has today, Monday, May 12, 2025, appointed Mr. Hicham Blawi, Prosecutor General at the Court of Cassation, as the Head of the Public Prosecution; succeeding Mr. El Hassan Daki, who was unable to continue his duties for health reasons.
Mr. Daki has carried out the tasks entrusted to him with loyalty, sincerity, integrity, and impartiality, in the service of strengthening the independence of the judiciary, the rule of law, and ensuring the rights and freedoms of individuals and groups.
