The President of the Ajbarnya Commune, located in the Ikhnoul district of Taza Province, has issued an urgent appeal to the Provincial Governor, requesting the repair of Regional Road No. 508, which runs through the commune.
This road, which connects National Road No. 29 with National Road No. 6, is one of the most important transport arteries in the northeastern region. Regional Road 508 serves as a lifeline for residents of Ajbarnya and neighboring communes, acting as the sole access route to nearby towns and cities. Its role is essential in facilitating mobility and improving daily living conditions for local inhabitants.
Currently, the road is in poor condition, with potholes and bumps posing serious challenges to residents. The section between National Road 29 and the borders of the Mezkitam Commune is particularly affected, exacerbating local hardship and disrupting traffic flow.
In this context, the President of Ajbarnya Commune has called for urgent intervention to repair Regional Road 508. The aim of this repair project is to improve transportation between towns and communes, reduce travel times, and ease daily life for residents. The appeal also highlights the importance of quickly programming the repair project, given its positive impact on mobility, quality of life, and road infrastructure in the region.
