Residents of Taza Villages Raise “Enough Marginalization” Slogan in Protest for Safe Road Access

Residents of the “Bouhoud Al-Sufla,” “Bouhoud Al-Oulia,” “Aghnino,” and “Al-Qseil” villages in the Taza province are set to organize a protest on Wednesday, May 7, in front of the provincial governor’s office. This protest is in response to the continued marginalization and exclusion of these areas.

According to local sources, the protesters are demanding the urgent improvement of the road linking National Road 29 to these villages. The current state of the road, which is in poor condition, severely hampers residents’ ability to travel, negatively affecting their daily lives.

The residents emphasize that this road is a vital lifeline connecting them to the outside world, yet it has not been properly developed despite previous promises from relevant authorities. They argue that the current situation poses a significant threat to their safety and well-being, calling for immediate action to resolve this long-standing issue.

This protest is part of a series of demands by the residents of the province, who continue to call for their basic rights to be addressed.
